Swedish Massage - The manipulation of soft tissues to produce therapeutic effects. It helps improve circulation, reduce pain and anxiety and has great relaxation effects. Regular massage is recommended where possible as it helps alleviate stress, improves mood and assist with positive overall wellbeing.

Warm Bamboo Massage - A new therapy which gives a hot twist to traditional Swedish massage. The warm bamboo massage combines the benefits of thermalism (use of heat applications) with massage strokes. This is a deep,relaxing and healing treatment.

​

Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) - This is a simple and effective series of stretches and mobilisations that brings the body back into balance. KCR can allieviate problems inluding: Fibromyalgia, headaches, knee and ankle problems, joint pain, back, shoulder and neck pain and many others. Energy levels will also increase when the body is in balance.

In 2016 David embarked on a new journey training as a massage therapist with Scottish Massage Schools, qualifying with a Diploma in Swedish Massage. He also has a Diploma in Warm Bamboo Massage which is a new therapy which gives a hot twist to traditional swedish massage. David is a newly qualified Kinetic Chain Release therapist. This is a simple and effective series of stretches and mobilisations that brings the body back into balance. 

 

David currently undertaking his qualification in Remedial and Sports massage. He is also a volunteer massage therapist with the Butterfly Trust.

With over 15 years in the voluntary sector working with a local charity, David has a wealth of experience in the field of health and wellbeing. Through working directly with people with mental health and wellbeing issues David is passionate about promoting a holistic approach to wellbeing.
